Un mondo dissonante per il suo orecchio da melomane, una mancanza di gusto imperdonabile per quest'anima libera, testimone privilegiata e involontaria di una certa visione dell'uomo ormai in disfacimento. Tutto sembra perduto quando un evento inatteso porterà Otto a un passo dal cambiare i destini del secolo. E se l'unico da salvare fosse Mozart? Con umorismo raggelante, puntigliosa ferocia e una gravità non priva di malizia, Raphael Jerusalmy firma un primo romanzo crudelmente sovversivo.
