В начале речи он скажет: «Я располагаю весьма важным (поразительным, любопытным) фактом. О нем я хочу рассказать вам.» Затем на протяжении речи должны последовать замечания, которые не только поднимают интерес, но и делают его все более напряженным. Оратор обязан знать, где могут понадобиться вспомогательные данные или стимулирующие интерес замечания и где следует опустить скучную и путаную подробность.
